Step 1
Prepare a basin of water, two clean and absorbent rags, a hairdryer, and lubricant.
Step 2
Clean the stains and mud from the large and small wheels and the frame of the wheelchair with a rag dipped in water. Do not place the wheelchair directly in the water. Rinse the wheel bearings and frame. The seams of the connections are the most likely to remain dirty and require delicate cleaning.
After cleaning, wipe the wheelchair dry with a dry rag.
Step 3
Use a hairdryer to dry the wheelchair, backrest, and seat surface. Be careful that the temperature is not too high, as this will damage part of the material structure. If equipped with a cushion, the internal material can be taken out and dried naturally, but avoid exposure to the sun.
Step 4
Lubricate the wheelchair wheel bearings and frame connection parts. Afterward, place in a, ventilated and dry environment to complete the maintenance.
